I just upgraded my camera body from the 40D to the 5D Mark II. If nothing else, it sounds more impressive:)

This is the first photo from the new camera. Figured I might as well throw it into the proverbial fire right away – a dark, decaying building (PPG) with very little light, no tripod, and only 45 minutes to shoot. Haven’t had a chance to look at all the photos yet, but so far, I am very impressed with the camera’s performance.

Recently uploaded some photos from an expedition to the abandoned CP Rail building in Owen Sound with my friend, Craig Blair, who runs Canon Rumours.  You can find them here.  Hope you enjoy them.

So, Welcome to the new home of Good Noise.  I expect that I will be adding or changing things a lot over the next little bit so please make sure you check back from time to time.  It’s a lot like me – a work in progress.

And I do hope to begin uploading a daily photo again.  Stay tuned.
